Mr. LING Yuan Chun is the Vice President of New Ventures at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), where he leads the growth of green economy ventures, focusing on strategic venture creation and partnership growth with leading companies and startups.
In addition, Yuan Chun is the Vice President and Head of Family Capital & Impact (FCI), and is directly responsible for EDB’s strategies in developing the Family Offices ecosystem that is experiencing tremendous growth.
Yuan Chun was previously the Vice President of Mobility, a sector that is experiencing disruption in the way people and goods are moved from 2020 to 2022. He was concurrently the Vice President of Customer Experience & Marketing, where he oversaw the design and development of new digital systems as part of the organization’s digital journey. From 2014 to 2017, Yuan Chun headed various roles in the Semiconductors Division. During which, he worked closely with top international companies from the Electronics industry to facilitate their investments into Singapore and transform their operations in Singapore.
Yuan Chun spent 3 years (2010 to 2014) in San Francisco, California, overseeing EDB’s investment promotion efforts in Northern California, Washington, Utah and Idaho. In addition, Yuan Chun represented EDB as the Secretariat for the Singapore Manufacturing Excellence Award (MAXA) and Manufacturing Excellence Community (MEC) from 2009 to 2010.
Yuan Chun is a Singapore GlaxoSmithKline-EDB scholar. He graduated with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Cornell University (New York, USA) and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (California, USA).
