Kean Loon is Senior Director for First Choice, Strategy and Quality & Environment for our DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) business unit in Asia Pacific. First Choice is DHL’s in-house continuous improvement methodology that encompasses many tried and tested tools and methods from Six Sigma, Change Management and Lean. Being a qualified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has led the team in driving the region’s customer centricity and continuous improvement programmes (First Choice, Net Promoter Approach, Customer Satisfaction Survey, Quality & Environment, etc.) to help deliver benchmark performance in the area of process excellence and customer satisfaction.

He is also the GoGreen Lead for DGF Asia Pacific and is an ardent Champion of Sustainability. DHL has set an ambitious target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and has committed to invest 7 billion Euros by 2030 in sustainable fuels, carbon neutral buildings, electric vehicles and various other related programmes. As the GoGreen Lead for Asia Pacific, Kean Loon’s role is to help drive and support the various GoGreen-related programmes that will pave the way for the organization to move closer to these goals.

Kean Loon has also been instrumental in championing digitalization efforts within the region such as Warehouse Automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
